What a match ... the way football should be fast and interesting. What struck me most was the way Germans fought this match. They never were nervous when they were trailing and when they were leading, never kicked the ball out of play or try to kill time. Those were the epitome of confidence and fair play for me. Their body language when they were playing with Spain was worth a mention. When they were losing and were sure to be out of the finals, they played with confidence and their shoulders never dropped! I think Brazil should learn a thing or two from the German team. It was shameful to see Brazil behaving the way they did during the quarters.
All said and done, today both teams deserved the third place. It was just that Germany was a tad bit lucky.
